Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Rivian Is Driven platform (“rivianisdriven.com” and all associated services, collectively the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). These Terms constitute a binding agreement between you and Jeff Jack / Rivian Is Driven (“we,” “us,” “our”). If you do not agree to all of these Terms, do not use the Service.

You must be at least 18 years of age to use this Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated through the Service with at least 30 days’ notice. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms. If you disagree with any modifications, your sole remedy is to discontinue use of the Service.

Description of Service

Rivian Is Driven is a community experience and operations platform for Rivian vehicle owners and enthusiasts. The Service provides: archetype identity discovery through an interactive quiz system (333 distinct driver archetypes across a 4-tier hierarchy), vehicle configuration recommendations, camp event discovery and registration, convoy trip coordination, community engagement tools, and an administrative backend for event operations.

This platform is an independent project created and operated by Jeff Jack. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or officially connected to Rivian Automotive, Inc. in any way. All vehicle specifications, pricing, and product information displayed on this platform are sourced from publicly available information and are provided for informational and community engagement purposes only.

The archetype quiz, vehicle recommendations, and camp experiences are designed for entertainment, community building, and lifestyle enrichment. They do not constitute professional advice of any kind — including automotive, financial, legal, or safety advice. Vehicle specifications and estimated pricing shown may not reflect current offerings from Rivian Automotive, Inc. Always verify details directly with Rivian before making purchasing decisions.

User Accounts & Registration

Certain features of the Service — including camp registration, saved vehicle builds, convoy participation, and community profiles — require creating an account. You may register using email/magic link authentication or supported OAuth providers. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

You agree to: provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration; maintain and promptly update your account information; notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account; not create accounts under false or misleading identities; not maintain multiple accounts for the same individual; not share account credentials with any other person; and not use automated methods (bots, scrapers, or similar tools) to create accounts or access the Service.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, exhibit fraudulent activity, remain inactive for more than 12 months (with notice), or as required by law. Upon termination, you retain the right to export your personal data for 30 days, after which your data will be permanently deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Camp Events & Registration

Camp events (“Camps”) are experiential driving events organized and operated by the Rivian Is Driven team. Camps include but are not limited to: multi-day expeditions, scenic drives, performance events, family outings, and community gatherings. Each Camp has defined capacity, dates, locations, and experience types.

By registering for a Camp, you agree to: provide accurate personal and vehicle information; acknowledge that Camp details (dates, routes, itineraries) are subject to change based on weather, trail conditions, permit availability, or safety concerns; accept personal responsibility for your safety and the safety of your passengers during Camp events; maintain valid vehicle insurance and registration for any vehicle participating in Camp activities; follow all instructions from Camp hosts, crew leaders, and trail guides; and comply with all applicable local, state, and federal laws during Camp events.

Camp registration may require payment. All Camp fees, refund policies, and cancellation terms will be communicated at the time of registration for each specific event. We reserve the right to cancel or modify any Camp event and will make reasonable efforts to notify registered participants in advance. In the event of cancellation by us, registered participants will receive a full refund of any Camp fees paid.

Participants acknowledge that outdoor driving activities, trail exploration, and camping involve inherent risks including but not limited to: vehicle damage, personal injury, exposure to weather conditions, wildlife encounters, and remote location hazards. By participating, you voluntarily assume these risks.

Vehicle Configuration & Pricing

The Design Studio feature allows users to explore vehicle configurations including model selection, pack tiers, exterior colors, and accessories. All configurations are based on publicly available information about Rivian vehicles and are provided for educational and entertainment purposes.

Estimated pricing displayed in the Design Studio and throughout the Service is approximate and for reference only. Prices are based on publicly available MSRP data and may not reflect current pricing, regional variations, taxes, fees, delivery charges, incentives, or promotions offered by Rivian Automotive, Inc. Final vehicle pricing is determined solely by Rivian Automotive, Inc. at the time of purchase.

QR codes and links to Rivian.com are provided as a convenience to users. We do not receive commissions, referral fees, or any form of compensation from Rivian Automotive, Inc. for directing users to their website. This may change in the future, at which point these Terms will be updated accordingly with appropriate disclosure.

Intellectual Property

The Rivian Is Driven name, “Systems That Outlast” tagline, archetype identity system (including all 333 archetype names, taglines, manifestos, and the 4-tier hierarchy structure), quiz methodology, camp event branding, and all original content created for this platform are the intellectual property of Jeff Jack / Rivian Is Driven.

Rivian®, R1T®, R1S®, R2™, R3™, and the Rivian logo are registered trademarks or trademarks of Rivian Automotive, Inc. All Rivian vehicle specifications, images, and product information are the property of Rivian Automotive, Inc. and are used on this platform for informational and community purposes under fair use principles. Rivian Automotive, Inc. is not affiliated with this platform and has not authorized, endorsed, or sponsored any content herein.

User-generated content — including quiz results, vehicle configurations, camp photos, community posts, and profile information — remains the property of the respective users. By submitting content to the Service, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, reproduce, and distribute such content within the Service and in connection with platform promotion. You may revoke this license by deleting your content or account.

You may not: reproduce, modify, or distribute our proprietary content without written permission; use the archetype system, quiz questions, or camp branding for commercial purposes outside this platform; reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any aspect of the Service; or remove, alter, or obscure any proprietary notices or attributions.

Community Standards

Rivian Is Driven is built on earned respect — for the land, for the vehicles, and for each other. All community interactions, including camp participation, convoy communication, messaging channels, and shared content, must reflect this standard.

You agree not to: harass, intimidate, or threaten other users; share content that is defamatory, obscene, or promotes illegal activity; engage in reckless or dangerous driving behavior during Camp or Convoy events; misrepresent your identity, vehicle ownership status, or driving experience; spam, solicit, or use the platform for unauthorized commercial purposes; or attempt to circumvent safety measures, access controls, or platform security.

Violations of community standards may result in content removal, account suspension, Camp registration cancellation, or permanent ban from the Service, at our sole discretion.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Rivian Is Driven, its operator, affiliates, employees, agents, and partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to: your use or inability to use the Service; any Camp event, Convoy trip, or community activity; vehicle damage, personal injury, or property loss during events; inaccuracy of vehicle specifications, pricing, or recommendations; decisions made based on archetype quiz results or vehicle configurations; unauthorized access to your account; or any third-party content, products, or services.

Our total aggregate liability for any claims arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the greater of: (a) the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) one hundred dollars ($100).

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any defects will be corrected.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Rivian Is Driven, its operator, affiliates, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from or related to: your use of the Service; your violation of these Terms; your participation in Camp events or Convoy trips; content you submit to the Service; or your violation of any third-party rights.

Termination

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or through the account settings interface. Upon user-initiated termination, your personal data will be removed from active systems within 30 days and from backups within an additional 30 days, in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time, with or without cause, including but not limited to: violation of these Terms; fraudulent or illegal activity; extended account inactivity (after 12 months, with prior notice); safety concerns related to Camp or Convoy participation; or as required by law.

Upon termination, provisions regarding Intellectual Property, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, and Governing Law shall survive.

Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration administered in accordance with the American Arbitration Association’s Commercial Arbitration Rules. Arbitration shall take place in Inglewood, California, and shall be conducted by a single arbitrator. The arbitrator’s decision shall be final and binding. Judgment on the award may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction.

You agree that any dispute resolution proceedings will be conducted on an individual basis only, and not in a class, consolidated, or representative action. If this class action waiver is found to be unenforceable, the entirety of this arbitration provision shall be null and void.

Notwithstanding the foregoing, either party may seek injunctive or equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction to protect intellectual property rights or prevent irreparable harm.

General Provisions

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Rivian Is Driven regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements and understandings. If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. Our failure to enforce any right or provision shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.

We may assign or transfer these Terms, in whole or in part, without restriction. You may not assign or transfer any rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent.
